Balanced
The CB-TRPDO moves the barrel’s widest section inward and tapers the wood beyond it, matching its full 2 1/2-inch contour to a slim .91-inch handle. On this balanced build, the fullest part of the barrel sits closer to the hands than it does on a conventional turn. It suits hitters whose contact already lives there: a bat fitted to the swing they have.

The ink dot
A drop of ink on the face grain, 12 inches up from the knob, wicks along the fibers and draws the grain’s line through the handle. On a Pro Reserve billet that line runs within 3° of the bat’s axis, the standard pro bats are held to in maple and birch.
