Balanced
The CB271 is Crown’s benchmark for balance. Its 2 1/2-inch barrel tapers smoothly into a 15/16-inch handle, giving it a substantial barrel with the weight kept centered. It’s for hitters who want a bat that feels responsive in the hands and solid through contact.

The ink dot
A drop of ink on the face grain, 12 inches up from the knob, wicks along the fibers and draws the grain’s line through the handle. On a Pro Reserve billet that line runs within 3° of the bat’s axis, the standard pro bats are held to in maple and birch.

- Ink-dotted billet. Grain verified within 3° through the handle.
